Stress the importance of consistency. Explain to your students that one of the reasons for using MLA format is that a consistent format helps to improve the style and authority of their writing. Moreover, a consistent style allows readers to focus on their ideas and personal insights, instead of being distracted by an unorganized attribution of sources.

I'm sorry, I misread that. If you don't have a specific author, you can simply put the name of the website in the parenthesis. For example, "quote" (Yahoo Answers).
This way you're still giving credit to your source.

A Works Cited page names all of the sources that were used in an essay and also gives credit to the source or sources. A Works Cited page also serves as a reference
to the sources that were used.
