Hi, My name is Jennifer Carlson. I hope this helps you learn a little about me. I was born in Springfield, Missouri. I have one older sister. I often wished I had more siblings, mostly because my sister and I fought alot. I lived in Springfield until my parents and I moved to Willard, Missouri when I was seventeen. That is where I graduated highschool. I met my husband in 1998, about two months after highschool. We were married in february of 1999. We have one daughter who is eleven years old, and a son who is five. They are the highlight of my life. I enjoy doing many things. I love to spend time with my family. We do alot of camping in the summer, pretty much anytime the weather is warm. I love to do gardening. Last year, I canned about sixty jars of pickles, made homemade salsa, and made grape jam. It all came from my garden that my husband and I enjoy working in together. My family and I went and saw the ocean for the first time in 2011. We went to Corpus Christi, Texas. We camped right on the beach, it was amazing. Now that my children are both in school, I figured it was my turn to do something positive with my future. I have always wanted to attend college, but just never had the chance until now. I have great support from my husband and family. I am very excited to be here!
I thought that this way a great way of letting us know who you were and a little bit of background information about yourself. I also thought that is was funny that you choose to go to OTC, instead of somewhere in Texas, since it seems like you like the heat. Anyways, glad you are in Missouri now.

It sounds like your family is very special to you. :) That would be awesome to camp right on the beach!I bet you made some wonderful memories.
ReplyDeleteMy family goes to the beach every five years. It is always something I look forward to. It is beautiful! I have never thought about camping on the beach though, may have to try!

ReplyDeleteIt is nice to meet you Jennifer. It sounds like you have an eventful household. My parents make homemade salsa also. Homemade stuff is almost always the best. I see you like the beach; I was born in Texas, the beach is like my second home so I know how that is.
