Paul Jackson - Introduction

-Quote from Theodor Seuss Geisel

Hello everyone, my name is Paul. I'm originally from Arlington, Texas, though I've moved several times in my life, from Texas to Montana, then Colorado, a year in Washington (the state, not the city), then back to Colorado for a few months last summer before I moved to Springfield. My favorite place I've lived is probably Bellevue, Washington, since it's a big city intermingled with nature, and there was literally a forest in my backyard.
I have two half-brothers and a step-brother, all much older than me, my parents are divorced, and I have at least nine nieces and nephews that vary in age from toddlers to high school age.
I enjoy the art of storytelling, both fictional and nonfictional, though the former is generally more interesting to me. I have been an avid reader all my life, played video games since 2000, and I have lost count of how many webcomics I check regularly. If I had to pick a favorite of each, it would probably be the Artemis Fowl series, The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess, and Surviving the World, respectively.

  2. It sounds like you love the colder states. I lived in the state of Washington for awhile when I was younger and I didn't like how it rained all the time.

  4. It would be pretty sweet to have a forest in your backyard! It would probably be my favorite place to live, too.

    1. The problem with having a forest in the backyard is the predators in the forest. My cousin and her family (who I was living with at the time) lost at least one cat to predators in that forest. On the other hand, if part of the trail hadn't been washed out by a rainstorm some time before I moved there, I could've walked for miles through mostly uninterrupted forest.

  7. As much I as can comment on what happened in your life, I will not. I will state this though...I love the quote! It really has a deep meaning more than I think the average person would think.
